“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me…” – JESUS (John 5:39)
Take a minute to think about how you read the bible. When you read it would you say your goal is more informational or transformational? Jesus talked to some guys in John 5 who were so focused on information that they missed the point. They missed who it was about. They missed that it was all about Jesus. God was standing right in front of them and they missed HIM. How often do we do this? When you read scripture do you see Jesus? Do you see that the story is all about HIM and not you? It wasn’t till I started to see Jesus in all of scripture that I started to get the point. JESUS. As you see Him in all of Scripture you will be transformed by His beauty.
